Ann-Made jewelry is made from soda can tabs to remind us that recycling is important and that creativity can put many discarded materials to new use. Each tab is hand-selected, washed and hand-polished to ensure quality and high luster, then intricately woven into a one-size-fits-most design using elastic. Each bracelet is sent to you attached to an eco-friendly, tastefully designed card with our story on the back.
We purchase the tabs from a non-profit organization that collects them from local schools and towns. They, in turn donate the money to a variety of charities. Each piece is hand-made by Ann and several talented and dedicated assistants. And very importantly, a portion of each sale is donated to environmental causes. So wear your Ann-Made jewelry with pride knowing your purchase did so much for so many.
The vision and passion behind Ann-Made jewelry is Ann Skydell Harmon, a special education art teacher. She set out to show that businesses have the power to "do good" for society and the planet in all aspects of their operations.
